Plate-Making Workshop: Create & Relax
Join us for a fun and relaxing workshop where you’ll unwind while learning the art of creating beautiful, handmade clay plates. Let your creativity flow as you make unique plates perfect for serving delicious food at any occasion.

In this hands-on workshop, you'll craft a set of up to three plates in various sizes. Choose to create a dinner plate and a side plate, or perhaps a collection of smaller plates for appetizers, nibbles, or desserts. If you’re looking to expand your collection, book multiple workshops or organize a private event for you and your friends (5+ guests).

What to Expect:
Danica will guide you through the hand-building process step by step, from rolling out the clay to shaping the edges of your plates. You’ll also learn nature imprinting techniques, using items like flowers, leaves, shells, and seed pods to create textured designs. Once you’ve created your plates, you’ll have the opportunity to add your personal touch with decorative accents and a splash of colour.

No experience necessary—our classes are designed to suit participants of all skill levels, so whether you're a complete beginner or an experienced creator, you’ll feel right at home.

Workshop Details:

• When: Sunday, 19th January 2025 | 9:30 AM – 12:00 PM

• Where: Rediscover Ceramics, 6 Jack Road, Wattle Grove, WA

• Cost: $139 per person

• Who: Adults and teens welcome

• Duration: Approximately 2.5-3 hours

• Includes: Non-toxic materials, tools, and firing; tea, coffee, and a baked treat on arrival.

Behind the Scenes:
After the workshop, Danica will fire and glaze your plates, making them food-safe and ready to use. Your completed creations will be microwave and dishwasher safe and ready for pickup in about 4 weeks.

• Tickets are non-refundable, but can be transferred to another person if you can’t attend.

• Rescheduling is available with 14 days' notice, at no additional charge. If rescheduling occurs within 14 days of the workshop, a $40 fee per ticket will apply.
