The Nature of Handmade
All of my work is handmade by me in my studio in Wattle Grove, Western Australia. Variations and irregularities may occur in size, shape & colour, making each piece unique and one-of-a-kind.
Designs, Colours and Size
Although all my work is photographed as accurately as possible, images and colours shown on this website are representational only. Slight design changes may vary from images displayed. Each piece is created, carved and glazed by hand and will therefore always vary (which is part of the charm). I try an give an accurate portrayal of the work, if not the exact image of the work if it is a bespoke item. Homewares and tableware items can change slightly from what’s in the picture.
Backorders
Not all items are in stock at all times. If there is something out of stock which you would like to order, please contact me and I can let you know when it will be available. Please allow up to 6 weeks for your piece/s to be made and shipped.
Caring for your handmade ceramics
All tableware items are food-safe as well as oven and dishwasher safe. Extreme and sudden changes in temperature should be avoided. All smaller vases can also be cleaned in the dishwasher and every item is safe to use with fresh flowers if desired. And as with all ceramics, breakages can occur if dropped or treated roughly. Please treat all pieces with respect and care and they will serve you well for years to come.
Order processing times
All orders are securely packaged and shipped within 2-3 business days. You will receive an email with your order status and tracking number once your items have been dispatched.
I prioritize sustainability and use biodegradable or recycled packaging whenever possible, while ensuring the integrity and safety of your items. If a recycled box is used or gift wrapping is requested, your order will be thoughtfully packed with twine and a personalized gift message.
Local Pickup Option: Wattle Grove WA
Your purchase will be gift wrapped and labelled. Available for pick up from the front of my home business.
You will receive a message saying purchase fulfilled once your item is ready.
Refunds / Exchanges
I do my best to make your Rediscover Ceramics shopping experience a delight. My ultimate goal is to provide you with a pleasant experience and a product that you truly enjoy. If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact me immediately. I offer a full refund, minus shipping, upon the safe arrival of the returned item(s). The customer is responsible for shipping on returns or exchanges. Please contact me prior to sending an item so that I know when to expect it. Custom orders are NOT returnable.
If your order is damaged in shipping, please email me immediately with photos of damaged packaging & goods.
Postage and International Shipping
Worldwide shipment is available. Shipping cost is calculated automatically according to the weight and size of your order. Customer is responsible for any taxes or duties that may be incurred on international orders. For larger international orders, or multiple items, its encouraged to get in contact with me to see if there is a better/ cheaper shipping option.
If you would like any item delivered quickly or more securely, you can message me and we can work out faster or more secure postal options on request and at your expense.
I cannot take responsibility for items lost in the mail- Please make sure your address is current and accurate, insurance is available.
If I have posted your parcel and it does not arrive you will have to lodge a missing parcel inquiry with Australia Post.
