Shake it gently up and down or tip it upside down and back upright for the salt to flow; side-to-side shaking will keep it in place.

The size of the opening and the coarseness of your salt or spice determine the ‘pinch’ size. For a larger pinch, use finer salt or pepper. These versatile shakers can also hold dried herbs or dukka, offering a variety of uses beyond just salt.

To refill, simply tip the shaker slightly upside down on a slight angle, and gently pour your chosen spice into the funnel. Give it a slight wiggle to guide the spice up the inside walls. For cleaning, wipe with a damp cloth—do not fill with water.
