POTTERY WORKSHOP - Making a Mug set [Sunday, 8th June]
Join Danica for a hands-on pottery experience!
In this workshop, you'll learn the art of hand-building pottery, creating your own unique mug and side plate from stoneware clay. If time allows, you can also craft a matching spoon, or alternatively, opt for a set of two tumbler mugs.
You'll have the opportunity to decorate and personalize your pieces, choosing from a range of coloured underglazes or a more subtle finish. Danica will guide you through your options and help you achieve your desired look. You can even choose to finish your creations with a beautiful green copper wash glaze.
After the workshop, your masterpieces will be fired and clear-glazed, making them safe for everyday use. They'll be ready for pick-up in about four weeks—just in time to enjoy your favourite tea or coffee. The final pieces will be microwave and dishwasher safe.
No prior experience is required! This project is designed to suit all skill levels and personal goals.
Students also receive 15% off in the Rediscover Ceramics studio shop.
Tea, coffee, and a baked treat will be served upon arrival.
