Pottery Workshop- Tree House- City of South Perth

  • John McGrath Hall 97 Hensman Street South Perth, WA, 6151 Australia (map)

Come and join Ceramic Artist Danica Wichtermann in creating a Tree House. In this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to create a functional and sculptural tree home from clay. Sculptures can be used outside in the garden, to plant little flowers in or could be turned into a lidded jar.

Participants will learn different techniques including working with clay slabs, adding in natural textures, and creating personalised, decorative elements. The possibilities are endless and your unique creations will surely brighten the home in a whole new way.

All equipment is included in this workshop.

This workshop is aimed at children aged 10-15 years.

Please note that parents or guardians must remain and supervise children during all Evolve workshops.

This workshop is part of the Evolve - Arts, Skills and Culture Workshops running through July and August 2021.

**Behind the scenes Danica will then fire and glaze fire your creations to make them perfect to use, and ready to pick up in about 4 weeks.

Classes include all non-toxic materials, tools, and firing.
